We recommend that customers upgrade to the latest version of our software as soon as possible to receive the most security and performance enhancements.
Version Release Cycle
Frequency of new version releases
Major versions of DPM software products are scheduled for release on an annual basis. For instance, versions such as v23.x.x.x encompass all releases within the calendar year 2023, while v24.x.x.x pertains to releases in the subsequent year, 2024. Sub-versions of the software are planned for release every six months, occasionally accompanied by minor interim releases.
Support for non-current versions
A major version is supported for a 24-month period (e.g version 23.x.x.x is supported to December 2024). This support encompasses sub-versions and minor versions released within the specified duration.
All fixes will be provided as next version. Therefore, non-current versions will be required to be upgraded to the latest version with the fixes. Versions outside of the stipulated support period will not be eligible for ongoing support.
Urgent or critical patches for discovered vulnerabilities
Upon identifying an urgent or critical vulnerability in DPM supported software version, Randtronics will promptly release a patch, which will exclusively apply to the latest version.
Users of non-latest versions must update for patch deployment.
What happens when a product reaches end-of-life?
Upon a software product or version reaching its end-of-support, we will cease to provide support, including technical assistance.
To maintain access to technical support, security patches, critical bug fixes, and new features or enhancements, users are required to update to the current version of the product.
